2019 Shipping and Freight Programs

OCS and BCS offer several affordable options for orders that need to be delivered. In addition to maintaining our own delivery vehicles we have negotiated discounted freight rates with commercial carriers.

Store Pick-Up

There is never a charge for store pick-up. If you have special conditions for pick-up orders: palletized, shrink-wrapped, etc., please provide that information at the time you order.

Store Deliveries

Each location offers delivery using our vehicles within 75 miles of our facility.  Delivery rates are as follows:

1. 0-25 miles - $30
2. 26-50 miles - $55
3. 51-75 miles - $80

LTL Freight

We have negotiated very favorable LTL shipping rates with our commercial carriers for orders that cannot ship via FedEx.  Maximum pallet weight 2,600 pounds; lift gate – add $10; residential delivery add $10. Inside delivery add $15.  No charge for the pallet.

Selling Programs containing Freight Options

$500/$1000 Freight Free Sales Program.

• Ohio dealers, PYOP studios and store-front business are eligible to receive free freight:
  1. On net sales orders equal to or greater than $250 of color products
  2. On net sales orders equal to or greater than $500 of regularly stocked glaze, bisque, tools and decorating accessories.

*Clay, slip and 3 gallon pails of clear glaze are excluded from this offer. Orders containing these items will be assessed a separate freight bill for these items.

• Regional** dealers, PYOP studios and store-front businesses are eligible to receive free freight:
  1. On net sales orders equal to or greater than $1000 of regularly stocked glaze, bisque, tools and decorating accessories.

*Clay, slip and 3 gallon pails of clear glaze are excluded from this offer. Orders containing these items will be assessed a separate freight bill. 

**Businesses within 200 miles of Ohio or Buckeye Ceramic Supply are eligible.

Schools Freight Program

School deliveries may be eligible for reduced or waived delivery charges if the following conditions are met:

• Deliveries to single districts: if we are able to deliver to all schools in a small district or several schools within a larger district on the same day;
• Deliveries to regions where several school districts coordinate their deliveries to occur on the same day.
